Trajectory at BISV Hacks 2026

Published: at 01:00 AM

We went back to BISV Hacks this year and built Trajectory, a learning platform that turns a goal into a study plan. We did not place. I was sad about that, and I still think it was one of the most fun hackathons I have done.

What we built

You tell Trajectory what you want to learn, such as math, finance, or coding. It gives you a roadmap, tracks how accurate you are on practice, and shows the concepts as a flowchart you can drag around. I worked on the backend for the user dashboard. Mrinal and Pransh handled scraping the learning content.

What I liked about it

The best part was the knowledge graph. Once we started drawing concepts as connected nodes, we kept noticing links between subjects that are usually taught apart. Compound interest in finance, for example, is the same exponential growth you meet in math. Seeing those lines on the screen changed how I think about studying. Subjects are less like separate boxes and more like one map.

Losing

It stings to put a weekend into something and not hear your name called. But we had a lot of fun, and the time we spent exploring how different parts of education connect is what I will remember from it.

Thanks to Mrinal, Pransh, Alex, and the rest of the team.
